Military Munchies

Last year, while my brother was deployed to Afghanistan, he told me how much he'd like to have some of my banana bread. Unfortunately, banana bread wasn't an item that would have shipped well, considering it could take a month or more to reach him. This is what lead to the development of the Oatmeal Magick cookie. It was the closest approximation to the bread I could create.  My brother will be redeploying somewhere, sometime this fall, and I plan to send these to him again. It got me thinking about our service people and how much a taste of home can mean in a place which has so little comfort. So, Tastey Treats will offer special Military Munchies packaging. While Tastey Treats is unable at this time to ship the items directly, we can provide vacuum sealed product and APO/FPO boxes to make it as simple as possible for you to send your loved one home baked cookies.
